Lena Gatti – Principal & Senior Interior Designer

Lena has in-depth experience in the residential housing sector working for the majority on period homes, Spanish Mission revival homes including some of Historical significance, Heritage listed properties, Mid Century and new build home and units. Lena is hired as “a Specialist Technical Consultant”, advising on and problem solving the Exterior and Interior of the homes both in the look, detailing and technical drawings and selections.

Lena is a Qualified Interior Designer having studied Interior Technology/Design and Building Design. She has a passion for residential and commercial applications and environmental sustainable design (ESD), and has an expert knowledge of materials and their uses.

She is experienced in design technology such as hand-drawings (manual drafting), AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Studio MAX, Animation, Photoshop, hand-rendering and artistic skills. The uniqueness of Lena’s skills and ability provide Gatti Design’s clients with an overall package, from concept to completion of the project ranging from planning, concept designs, interior design, technical drafting and interior finishes.

Lena is especially gifted in spatial planning and joinery design showing knowledge and skill in Hampton’s and various other genres of styles. She brings extensive knowledge of the construction of buildings and drawing skills into her interior work. Lena has worked with Queensland University of Technology (QUT) for many years in the Mentoring Program of Interior Design students and Graduates. She has also lectured to students and the public on Interior Design.
